TOOLS AND SEEDS

The four photographs below were all taken of the same piece of land.  When I first met the woman who owned the land she asked for a hoe and a rake so that she could clear it.  

We then supplied her with a variety of seeds.  It has taken less than two months from the clearing of the land to the vegetables being ready to eat!

When I first started working with Prasat Char village I would ask the various households how I could best help them, to my surprise they all asked for simple things such as watering cans and tools.
