Thanks to donors – they know who they are, but mention Ireland/Scotland (Dunhcan Hurst), England (Geoff) Brett, Jordy, etc.  we have donors all over the world now and there are too many to mention, but here a just a few of the most recent.

Flora and Jimmy Hurst, together with other close relatives, held a fundraising afternoon at their house in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Saturday - it was a huge success, despite the awful weather (yes, it is summer in Scotland!).  It brought the family and community together and since Saturday they have continued to receive phone calls from people who came along, letting them know what a wonderful time they had.  They succeeded in raising over 500 pounds (about $1100 - 1200 Australian dollars) for the school.  Flora will be sending this money to you via the Global Development Group account.

They had set up your CD/DVD on a laptop on a continuous loop in the greenhouse, which was apparently THE place to be to feel some sort of warmth!  I don't think there was dry eye amongst those people who watched the slide show ("Ah've been telt ah'll need ma hankies", one neighbour was heard to say!), but I do know that the warmth of the greenhouse definitely reflected the warmth and generosity of those involved, who parted with their cash for a very worthwhile cause.  "Lorna Hurst"
